Unit 10

Well got my paper back and didn't do well, but I didn't expect I would.  I hade a really hard time trying to focus this time around and I don't do well writting an argumentative paper, I don't think I picked a subject that you really can argue it's pretrty straight forward!

Anyway, I hope everyone got their papers done and were able to learn something from this course! 

Unit 9

Hello everyone,

I have found this week with trying to get all of my school work done and working very challenging!!   I haven’t had a lot of time to write my paper between the move and everything else so I’m feeling a little frustrated this term!!

I know were all busy working, being mom’s wives, husbands Dad’s and so on and trying to find balance sometimes seems out of reach but I’m hoping that next tern I will be able to get it in gear!!  I’ve been on the dean’s list all of my terms here at Kaplan and this time I just don’t think I’m going to be making that!!   Anyway, I hope you all have had a great week and are looking forward to Thanksgiving with your families and friends!!  I love this time of year and we might even get some snow here in the Pacific Northwest for the holiday!!

Unit 8 Blog...

Hello all!

Well had a short week at work, I coaught my bosses cold and felt terrible on Friday!!  The weather here has been cold and rainy for weeks and since Im not acclimated to it yet I think that I am going to sick often!! Ha!

My Mom came this weekend from California for a visit, and it's been great having her here!  She helped me hang all my pictures, decorations and bought us an early Christmas gift a new kitche table!  That was a great suprise and much needed!

Hi everyone, I hope everyone has had a great week!!   It's an exciting night for us, my "Bonus Son" graduated from culinary school tonight!!  I'm so proud of him; I hope that he will be successful in anything he decides to do!! 

How did everyone do with their papers?  I’m not feeling so great about mine, I didn’t real spend the time I needed to, between working ,moving and trying to focus on school I just haven’t seemed to find a balance there!!    Sooo, my goal this week is to really focus on what needs to be done!!

So, what does everyone have going on for Halloween??  This year I'm feeling a little sad about Halloween, I've always had my niece with me for Halloween!  We always made it into a fun big deal for her because she is really afraid of costumes, last year I was the first year I got her to actually trick or treat and not just want to stay home to pass out candy!!  Sooo, needless to say I'm mising home and family since I'm 9 hrs from all of them but I do know this move has been a great thing for my husband and I. 

I've been talking to a co worker who is really into fitness and eating right, she has been giving me some tips and things...  I'm really trying to get mysef back in the habit of just working out for a half hour on my lunch, I just need to make it a part of my routine and soon enough it will become habit!  It's so easy to just go backwards with weight loss and go back to old habits!  I'm trying not to do that...  I hope all of you have had a great week and that you all have a Happy and Safe Halloween!! 

Rainy, rainy Monday here in Oregon, it looks like summer if officaly gone here and the wet weather has settled in for a while!!  Since this is my first winter in Oregon, it's going to take some getting use too!! 

I'm also trying to get back on the wagon with my daily workouts, I have a gym in the Dr.s office where I work so it makes it very conveinant!  No, it's just finding the willpower to go my butt in there and do it!!  I can see how easy it can be to pack on thr weight during the long cold winters and that is exaclty what I am trying to avoid!!  Since I am diabetic, I try to watch my food intake but someday I watch my good intentions go right out the window!!  I'm trying to be better to my body!!  WIsh me luck, hope you all have a great week!

October 15th

Hello everybody!

I hope everyone had a great week, it's been a crazy one for me for sure!!  We finally found a place of our own, and will be moving at the end of the month!  We have been staying with family and although we are greatful for it, it will be so nice to finally be on our own again!!  I never realized how expensive it is to move from one state to another, Uhaul and all of the other moving companies want a crazy amount of money!! 

How is everyone doing with the discussion this week?  I'm looking forard to writting my paper, I think I will be able to find some really great information on diabetes.  With myself having diabeties, this is soomething I am passionate about!  I would love for them to find a cure someday, it isn't always easy to control it and stay so strick with you food intake!!  I hope you all are able to find some really great information for your papers as well!!

Hello everyone!!!

Just walking in from work and jumping on here to post on my blog and do my seminar!!  It's only Wednesday and I'm already wanting the week to be over, work is crazy we are down a body and I have been doing 2 jobs for weeks now!!  Looking forward to next week when our new employee starts and I can go back to my office and resume life as usual!!

The weather had turned cool so fast here in Oregon, the leaves are all changing and we have been having some really beautiful fall days, I dont know how many of you watch Little People Big World, but we live near their farm and Im sooo looking forward to going to visit and pick out some pumpkins!  I love the fall, I love smelling people using their fire places and the beautiful colors of the changing leaves!! 

Anyway, I guess I better get into seminar, hope you all have a really great week!!
