Hello everybody!
I hope everyone had a great week, it's been a crazy one for me for sure!! We finally found a place of our own, and will be moving at the end of the month! We have been staying with family and although we are greatful for it, it will be so nice to finally be on our own again!! I never realized how expensive it is to move from one state to another, Uhaul and all of the other moving companies want a crazy amount of money!!
How is everyone doing with the discussion this week? I'm looking forard to writting my paper, I think I will be able to find some really great information on diabetes. With myself having diabeties, this is soomething I am passionate about! I would love for them to find a cure someday, it isn't always easy to control it and stay so strick with you food intake!! I hope you all are able to find some really great information for your papers as well!!

Hi Nicole, Did you just move to Oregon or out of? We moved from Florida to Oklahoma about 3 years ago and it was crazy expensive! We had to sleep on air-mattresses at my brother-in-laws house for 3 weeks while looking for a place, so I totally understand where you are coming from!

ReplyDeleteHi Nicole, I also have diabetes. I have type 2 but I have to use insulin when my sugars get to high. I take oral meds for it too. Everyone tells you that you can't eat this and you can't eat that but I have found that everyone's body is different and I eat what I want, I just watch how much and how often. I am one of those people that could sit down and eat 2 whole candy bars and my sugars do not go above 150 but give me 1/2 of an apple and my sugars will shoot up over 350. My doctors do not know why and neither do I. Also lemonade will spike my sugars in the 3-400's with just a little sip. Weird...I think doing a paper on diabetes is a great topic because they are always coming out with new articles and stuff. Good luck on your paper and I pray for a cure too!
